N-Media love to play with files related wp plugin, we recently launched another File Repository Manager Plugin and now it is PRO version for this plugin. Following features are being delivered in PRO version:

• Receive uploaded file(s) in email as attachment
• Download all files and directories as zip for each user
• Attach umlimited additional input fields with file
• Search files and directory option
• Secure files from unauthorised download
• Allow multiple file upload
• Allow admin to share files
  • it is one sided sharing
  • anly admin will share file/folders
  • admin can set roles in option, so users role can see files

All above options are opt-in by admin. These can be turn off/on as per site need. Following are features in detail:

Receive uploaded file(s) in email as attachment

When user uploads file on site an email is sent to admin and user as well. But admin can get uploaded file in email as attachment.

Download all files and directories as zip for each user

This is another great control for admin to download all files against a user as zip. This option can be found under FileRepo -> File Stats Menu.

Attach umlimited additional input fields with file

This option allow admin to set unlimited input fields (called file meta). Following kind of input fields can be set:

1. Text
2. Checkbox
3. Select
4. Textarea

There is option to set field as Mandatory.

Search files and directory option

Fron-end user can search files and directories within current directory.

Secure files from unauthorised download

There is option to secure files. Once it is enabled a link will be generated against each for limited time. This time limit can be set by Admin in minutes.

Allow multiple file upload

Front-end user can upload more then once files at time.

Allow admin to share files

This is one the powerful option for admin, which allow him to share files of any user with all other users or share files with specific Roles. Let’s say if Admin set file sharing options for Roles: Authors and Editor then only users belong to that Roles can see those shared files. Front-end user will another tab for shared files and also he can see that which of his files are being shared by Admin. These all option are available in Plugin option page and very easy to set.
